We walked up to the.overlook and the kids really had fun scrambling around the rocks. Great,We visited on Sunday and found both the main lot and the Raven Cliff lots at capacity and closed by 11am. Caesars Head State Park has long been a must-see in the South Carolina Upstate. Other than that, the trip was great and the visitor center had a nice selection of items.My daughter and I drove 3.5 hours with two dogs for a hiking day trip and they were 'at capacity' when we arrived.

We eventually gave up and decided to try it on our way home. Dogs do not belong in state parks. The view is spectacular and the the Devils Kitchen is super cool!
